Nike We Run KL 2012

~ At the starting Point, can you see the crowd of 12,000 people ~

A super famous annual event, named as Nike We Run KL 2012. This year, so grateful I can take part. I participated in category Women under 25 years old. For university category, UPNM send out 250 participants, quite a big contingent, but still got other universities send more than us. Everybody with full Nike Run jersey, can’t even recognize who is who, everybody looks the same. UPNM students, along with 4 buses and 4 3tonnes went to that event. As I know, total of 12,000people took part in this event.

 

~ Top 10 result for category Women Under 25 years old ~

For a 10km event, I hope I can perform well. I ran non-stop with my full passion and heading to the finishing line. I felt that this is my best performance, kind of spirit keep pushing me to the front. Yes, I did well, I satisfied with my result, my result is 00:52:54.62, is my new PB. When I check back the official result, I got ranking 13 in category Women Under 25 years old. Quite disappointed that I can’t get into placing top 10. But what I felt happy is, my result is not more than 1min different with ranking 10. So, means my result is quite good lo J

~ Let’s rock the party ~

After the run, we get another finisher T, nice shirt. Also got peak time for this event, party like in the club. Everybody just enjoy the moment, especially UPNM’s cadets. When student UPNM got chance to get out from the “jail”, they are like a freedom bird hoop hoop here and hoop hoop there, enjoy to the limitless. When going for a big event, a place where athletes gather, what I hope for is the chance to meet my friends. And so, I met many friends there.

Although UPNM didn’t win any prizes in this event, but we still show a good result. Anyway, want to congratz to SMK Wangsa Maju Seksyen 2 for winning THE BEST SCHOOL AWARD, and KTAR won for THE BEST UNIVERSITY AWARD. Maybe UPNM can try for next year. Well, I like this event. J

Hatyai Crazy 1 Day Trip

Hatyai is located in Thailand, also a famous tourism place to visit. Hatyai is the border part of Thailand, so with only Border Pass, people from border state in Malaysia included Kedah, Penang and Perlis can go to Hatyai. One border Pass only costs RM10. That’s why my hometown almost got trip to Hatyai every month. Once, one funny case, I told my friend I staying in Jeniang, after my friend search on google map, he keep on ask me whether im Thai people or what, said that why I can walk to Thailand from my house. Haha. In the map, is it really so near between Hatyai and my home? I don’t know. Already staying in a state so near with Hatyai, but never been there before, this was my 1^st time to visit Hatyai.

                           

We went to Tesco Hatyai, Pasar and Floating Market….I finally knew why so many girls like to go Hatyai for shopping, really will get you crazy about their things and prices. When depart, the bus is just full of passengers, but when back to Kedah, every boxes in the bus and middle road of bus was full of plastic bags, my place also full of my new clothes. After reached home, still not satisfied what I have bought, thinking of “I should have buy that, buy that and that”. Haha. Then I straight said to mother I want to go again!!! You will have same feeling with me if you go to Hatyai. Believe me….
