Annual Camp 2014

During Junior stage, we did CIW while during Intermediate stage, we did CW Advance and Retreat exercise. And as Senior for the last year for annual camp, we did CW Defence and Attack exercise called Aksasais Mandi Peluh. This year, we stayed 6 days at Bukit Botak, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan. You heard the place Bukit Botak, then you should imagine how Bukit Botak looks like. For your information, Bukit Botak is really botak and high altitude, surrounding of this mountain got none of tree, no shady place to hide from sun. After 6 days been stay at the open place on the mountain with no water supply and not enough food, we get sun burn, very very serious sun burn. Days during the exercise, really feel like labor who really work very hard to earn money. During daytime, sunlight very strong and we still work hard under hot sun, during night time feels very very cold since we are at high altitude area. One day, we just get issued 2 bottles of 1.5L mineral waters, we had to save it for drinking, toilet use and other usage, can say not enough lo. Our squads got dehydration and send to medic.

For defence stage, is the craziest thing I ever do, every pair of partners needs to dig a big hole like a grave. The main point is to defence from enemy, prevent attack from enemy, dig a place for us to stand and sleep. All work by hand you should know, 3 days limit for us to dig until chest height. Is it crazy? Pair is one girl one guy, so that the guy can dig more, for my team, I think my partner dig the whole hole la, haha. For 1^st day, we must dig until knee level, 2^nd day until waist height, and 3^rd day until chest height. For all of that, depends on the height of the higher partner, so have to dig very very deep. Dig for that deep need 3 days, but when cover back just need 5mins, oh my god.

This was the last annual camp for senior, so everybody really put their heart in the exercise. 6 days didn’t bath at all, yerrr, smelly, but have to get used to it, everybody smell the same, haha. There also got no toilet, so? Haha, pandai pandai la. To make this annual camp more memorable, our officer organized a BBQ party for us, coincidentally was birthday of one of our squad. All these unforgettable memory will always engrave in my mind forever, may be the toughest, craziest, hardest but sweetest memory.

After all, now already step in Jun, is end of our Senior year, we are soon-to-be-commissioned sub Lieutenant officer. Looking forward 23 August, D-day for our commissioning parade which will be held at UPSI, Tanjung Malim. Welcome to witness the most proud moment. Our squads involved of 169 Senior. Looking forward D-day, we are ready in action.

Industrial Training * 21st Birthday

~ NOL Global Services Sdn Bhd. ~

I already started industrial training, know as practical a.k.a internship a week ago. 5^th semester in my degree studies, we have to go through internship training for 4 months. We supposed to start practical from early September onward, but my company wants me to start internship earlier. Well, as I already came back from Sabah, then I can work immediately lo. Currently doing internship training at NOL Global Services Sdn. Bhd. which is an administration center. Everyday face to computer for 8hrs, do Bill of Lading, I’m so blur, I’m computer idiot leh. Just sit in office all the day, I’m like ah……..But luckily my company provides a coffee machine, coffee cheer up my day. One week works for 5 days only, weekend free. Thinking of joining race during weekend, but since I’m not training, then should I go for game? No game, my legs very weak leh.

One day when I’m working, my colleague take 1 box of keys for me, he asked me to find my key. Is a day to get a key I know, but not a locker key leh, I want a golden key. After searched from these over than 100 keys, I still can’t find mine. Why I said golden key? Yeah, it’s my birthday on 6 August. I’m officially 21 years old now, not young anymore. 21 years old, can enter casino freely (no need block by guard anymore), can go clubbing, haha, joke joke.

~ So many keys, I really tried all, seriously, but where is my locker key? ~

People say 21^st birthday must get a key from parent, it means freedom legally as an adult. It dates from an old tradition that at 21 years old, you are considered old enough to be a key holder to your family home, and thus hold a symbolically “senior” position in family. It’s an old tradition that has long since become irrelevant and obsolute, but symbolism of the key on 21^st birthday lives on. My parent still owe me a golden key, they will buy for me when I go back home. Hehe.

I have to punch card to office as well on my birthday since I’m part of white collar also. Birthday is a day to make a wish, not a wish, is a list of wishes. Here I make my list.

1.     Graduate in Degree in 2014

2.    Further study to oversea

3.    Can swim before I graduate (who want to be my coach)

4.    Build a backpacker Travel Group

5.    Get few travel partners

6.    Get a DSLR camera

7.    Holiday Working to New Zealand

8.    Get a Boyfie (Most funny wish in the world)

I thought can conquer Mount Kota Kinabalu before 21 years old, but failed to do that. Failed not because of I can’t make it, because of the weather not allow us that time. My blog post about Mount KK coming up soon, be patient ya. But actually I already satisfied with what I get and what I did during 2013. I get a road bike for myself, get a smartphone, went to USS Singapore and so on….

This year, I get not so many presents, but all very expensive. I appreciate everything, and thanks to friends who wish me on FB, phone or whassap or anything la. Again thanks to everyone. I’m very happy and hope everyone all the best and good luck as well.  On my birthday, I still have to work, I got 1hr break time, I went to eat my favourite food. My birthday was just a day for me to spend money lo. Buy whatever I want, eat whatever I want to eat. Must treat myself nicely what. HAHA.

LIMA’13 Day 2

After Day 1 in Langkawi, here we go…. On 28 March 2013, 2^nd day in Langkawi, we started our new fresh day at 0830H. We had fun in Langkawi for 2 days only, for sure have to play until siao lo. J Before visit to LIMA, we paid a visit to famous cable car Langkawi. To get up to there, very high, but when you are up there, wa, was like at the heaven. Felt so great to stand at the highest point of Langkawi.

After that, we headed to LIMA’13 Maritime Exhibition at Awana Porto Malai. We saw submarine “ KD Tunku Abdul Rahman” but just from far la. There were 3 warships we can visit, other warships just anchored at beside. 3 warships that displayed were Bangladesh Navy - BNS DHALESHWARI, Royal Malaysian Navy – KD JEBAT and Royal Thailand Navy– H.T.M.S. PHUKET. Navy officers from Phuket very cute, very sporting, even can exchange facebook with us. J

2 hrs strolled around there then headed to our last destination, Pekan Kuah again. I bought about RM25 of chocolate again that day. J Haiz…..Yup, already is time to go home. We went to Jetty Terminal and waited for our ferry. Last ferry at 1900H, back to Perlis lorh….

My granma, my mum and my sister came Perlis Ferry Terminal to fetch me, hehe J Went home for Cheng Beng la. My grandma staying in Perlis, so I had lunch at her house and paid a visit to my auntie there. Around 10.30pm just back to Kedah. On Thursday night, yes, I reached home finally. Woke up very early on Friday morning for Cheng Beng at Jeniang side. Anyway, was a great experience to visit LIMA and Langkawi. There are so great, super duper great. Now I’m planning some activities for my sem break, Langkawi is a nice choice.
