Singapore Walk

A sudden unplanned trip to Singapore (SG) during Final Exam period, within 5 days decided everything. After my 1^st paper of exam, got 1 week gap, I made my notes before departed to SG. I can’t stay there for long because exam waiting me. Haha. 4 days 3 nights there, but we reached very late on the 1^st day and leave SG very early on the 4^th day, just counted 2 days spent in SG. 1 day walked around in SG and 1 day spent for Universal Studio Singapore (USS). KL is a strategic place for me, right middle between Kedah and SG, 5 hrs journeys from KL. When I feel want to go home, I can go Kedah, when I feel boring, I can just go SG. HAha. I scare I will do so, so I let my mum keep passport at home, if not I think I will go SG every week.

1^st time went to SG by bus. If normal express bus fee, from KL to SG will be RM40.00, from Kedah will be around RM68.00, quite cheap. From Kedah to SG take 10hrs while from KL to SG only take 5 hrs. If not peak time, can buy bus ticket on the spot. TBS is a bus hub with buses heading to south of Malaysia, there also has café, food court, KFC, MPH Bookstore and pharmacy, very convenient.

Luxury Bus – Around 75.00 (Serving with food like airplane)

I like the environment in SG, always clean and peaceful. Their public transport very good service and nice facilities. At the park, a very big park, many people jogging, cycling, skating and bring their dog to walk. I like to see that. The most important one is safe. If I live in a place like this, I can jog and cycle everyday lorh, no worries about our safety.

Well, let’s go out for walk, don’t always stay in front computer. Introduce must-visit place in SG.

Esplanade is located right middle of Marina Bay Sand and Merlion Park. After visit Esplanade, can walk pass a bridge beside Esplanade, go to find Merlion.

Tourism Attraction 3: Singapore Flyer

Around this area all are expensive restaurant, so we went to Marina Square to have our lunch. After that, we went to Marina Bay Sand.

Bugis Street is a place for youngster, cheap things can find inside. A nice place to buy shirts and souvenirs. Hoho

During night time, we went for a dinner with our gugu. Buffet dinner at Buffet Town, Raffles City.

Like this we finished our SG Walk, feel tired walk for a day, but what waiting us for the next day? Of course is Universal Studio Singapore (USS).

Singapore is a nice country to visit, to shop and to play, but the only point make Malaysian to think twice is $$$ - money. RM2.40 exchange with only $1, need to save more just go there. Plus, I have many friends in SG, go there for 1 week also won’t feel bored. HAHA. ^.^

Class Function 2TMT

31 May 2013, the day before 3^rd Leg of MUDS 2013, we went to our class function. At last, our class succeed to organized our class function for the 1^st time although already 3 years studying in UPNM. Planned for very long time, but due to some problems, unable to fix the venue and date, until study week just let this function real happen. I thought I can skipped this function because need rest before race what. But seeing all classmates put so much hope for this event, for sure I can’t absent as well.

We reached Restaurant Nelayan at 5.30pm to do preparation. Story about Restaurant Nelayan >>> ClickHere. For this function, got 3 lecturers attended. There was no performance from students, only karaoke session throughout the function. Our function got lucky draw and cutting cake ceremony. This function not very high class, but just to aim to make our relationship closer and as a good memory before we separate and going for internship. After this, we will not see each other for 8 months, is a very long period leh.

Quite happy during the function. The steamboat served us with Tomyam soup. Wei, I need to go to race on another day de leh, how can I eat sour and spicy food, OMG. But, switch channel, change mind, if they serve with my favorite Tomyam with seafood in front my eyes, why not I eat as many as I can. Haha, plus I already didn’t feed myself with nice food for so long. This is the time, I’m craving for so long already. I put everything in my plate and drink Tomyam soup too.

Although quite tired with training for MUDS, but I still let myself enjoyed in the function. As a conclusion, our “boss” wanted the whole class to sing a Malay song - Sejati by Awie from Group WINGS. A song to describe friendship, touched. A memorable day for 2TMT.

After game, we back to UPNM and I did my preparation for MUDS until 1am. Haha. Then, what was the result I get from MUDS? Stay tuned….

Restaurant Nelayan Gombak

Restaurant Nelayan, when I heard this, my mind pops up as a very economical and peaceful restaurant. Well, the restaurant very big in front my eyes, WOW. Wood sampan’s design appearance brings some kind of kampung style to us, and yes, can feel the peacefulness when entering the restaurant. Restaurant Nelayan serve buffet steamboat with RM29 per person if not mistaken I think. They also got air-conditioner area, wedding dinner area, and half-opened-air area. There has a very big car park. At night session, the buffet starts from 6.30pm until 11.00pm. I like the surrounding there decorates with plants and kampung style.

If you are not finding a very high class restaurant, need a peaceful place, I recommend you this restaurant.
