PALAPES ~
~ Track of Log Race~
In battalion PALAPES, to find out the best company among 4
companies, there are competition of military sports and university sports to
see which company get the highest mark. Military sports included Log Race, Cross
Country ,Kawad Kaki, Jalan Laju 8km and Merentas Halangan while University Sports
included Netball, Futsal, Football, Handball and Volleyball. Until now, I just
took part in Log Race, for distance of 1.6km. OC battalion wanted to upgrade
the level, wants to change the name of Best Company to Company Diraja. J Well,
we will see which company can hold the name of Company Diraja...

On 17 March 2013, the next day of our Intermediate Happy Hour Cowboy Night, we had our Log Race Inter Company PALAPES. For the 1st time, I carried log on my shoulder.
Log Race is a game works in pair, with full loreng, bag pack with 8kg sand,
webbing set and M16. Put on the spike boots, I can’t run at all. Haha.
~ Delta the winner ~
Every company send out 2 platoons for Log Race, and 1
platoon stand for 32 people. After all, Company Delta appeared as the winner
for Log Race while Platoon 2 of Company Charlie as the best platoon. Delta
Company is my company, my platoon actually came in the finishing the earliest,
but we hit many penalties, so lost few marks behind Platoon 2 of Charlie.

In coming few weeks, many games will be carry on to battle
between companies. Everybody play so hard for their companies; wish their
company to get the award.
