D8 - Water Village, North Borneo Railway, Sabah Art Gallery

Last day in Sabah, don’t want to go back Peninsular Malaysia, still got many places haven’t go. A state covered by sea and mountains, a great place to enjoy holiday. We fully used of last few hours in Sabah, We went to Water Village, North Borneo Railway Station and Sabah Art Gallery.

Through Sembulan Water Village, you simply can know how their life is. Simple wooden house on the water, water get polluted, kids playing around and running here and there. Wooden bridge or lane that connecting every house in the village, is their main road to go in and out, but within 20 steps, around 5 planks missing, some just blank it there, some use another wood to cover it. Looks not so stable, I really curious how they survive there, really salute them. I had to walk slowly and carefully when I step forward. Kids there still can take a Tupperware then catching fishes there. They are so cute and simple life.

Well, let’s move to North Borneo Railway Station. I wanted to see charcoal train actually, but so sad, the train only show to public on Wednesday. I asked permission from officer to let me go in to snap photos of antique train. He said: “ Ok. Faster. Faster”. Haha. Then I went in and walked around there.

D7 – Mamutik Island, Manukan Island, Sapi Island

Sabah not only popular with Mount KK, also popular with beautiful islands. Tunku Abdul Rahman Park got 3 islands, Mamutik Island, Manukan Island and Sapi Island. My day 7 in KK started with sea…. I like sea very very much, the sound of wave, blue-wish color water, handsome shirtless guys at the beach, bikini ladies beside the beach, but I scare of water.  Even I’m doing maritime studies, but I can’t swim, my biggest problem. How if I want to go on sailing man? Ok , ignore this problem 1st, let’s jump to the island…

Many counters selling tickets there, just simply choose 1 la, haha. We bought ticket to 3 islands, boat tickets cost RM43. Spent around 2 hours at each island. People mountain people sea. I’m water idiot, so I rent snorkeling mask and live jacket.

Boat Ticket: RM43 (3 islands)
Snorkeling Mask & Life Jacket: RM15
Entrance Fee: RM3

~ My favorite scenery ~

The scenery there really awesome, always see people go there, and I reached here finally. Just imagine how nice if I can held my wedding by the beach, WAAA…… Sandy beach with wave sound and blue sea water, really feeling good. Only the sun too hot, sun burn man. We strolled along the beach and peep on handsome guys, hehe. When looking at handsome man, I suddenly fall down, ishh, pokkai!!! They build tents there, and I didn’t saw the rope. What ashamed of me.

~ Bloody tent made me fall down, can't remember when was the
last time i fall down many years ago ~

~ Even kid also do better than me ~

~ Fishes ~

I’m so scared of water, really, my friend keep tell me “If you see black thing, don’t step on it, will die one” HarrrrRR? I’m a water idiot, I scare of water, I don’t know how deep with the water, I don’t know what is inside the deep sea, fishes surrounded me, but I felt so scared, some more he saying like that made me more scare. Haiyo… 1st time tried on snorkeling, just float on the water, even put on life jacket, but still feel scare lo. Don’t laugh at me ho!!!

~ I scared this ~

~ So many people waiting their boat to pick up them. BYE,I back 1st  ~

~ Want to play, have to take the effect, see, so many layers dy lo ~

At there, can see fishes swim beside you, you also can see coral (but I didn’t see because I’m too scare). We went to Mamutik, then Manukan then Sapi Island. Suggest you to reach there before 9am, as the sentence sounds “Early bird catches worm”, our islands tour was from 9am – 3pm. Yeah, already enough to explore to 3 islands, already enough dark, my skin too pain, should go back home already. Even already more than 1 month, but the effect of sunburn still appear.

Well, after that, we move to Suria Sabah. At night, we still went to Signal Hill and Tun Mustapha Tower. Yeah, last night at Sabah, so sad. I want to stay more days in Sabah. Erm… should plan and go Sabah again. I really like this “Land Below the Wind”.
