Visitors used to book their hotels few years before the event. With LIMA, really hit the Langkawi incoming tourist rate; make Langkawi’s tourism until boom. During LIMA season, hotels in Langkawi fully booked, homestay fully rent, public transport very crowded, and tourism attraction enter peak time, ferry fully seated every schedule. This time we together 38 students, 2 ALK officers and 2 HEPA officers, besides than ferry fees and food, everything were sponsored by HEPA UPNM included accommodation, bus transportation and LIMA trade visitor pass. We were the 1st university students who able to enter LIMA on the 2nd and 3rd day, because usually these days are special days for world trade visitors, VVIP, and big big person. I went to Langkawi when I was small, then this was my 2nd time to be there I think. 1hr journey from Jetty Perlis – Jetty Langkawi. After that, we headed to our homestay. Many people were wondering and asked me about my accommodation at there, they worried no place to stay. Luckily one of our senior is from Langkawi, his grandma rent 4 home stay for us with cheaper price. Our room still equipped with air-conditioner, so great. J

Around 1100H morning, we went to our most important destination – LIMA’13 Aerospace Exhibition at Mahsuri International Exhibition Cetre. Wow, so many officers, non-stop of salute them. Aerospace Exhibition got 2 parts included indoor exhibition and outdoor aircraft exhibition. Many aircraft formation shows above our head, awesome shows and really open my eyes. Many aircraft showing there. The moment you hear the shocking sound from aircraft, it really can move until your deep heart and you will suddenly shout out: “WOW!!!” Even the exhibition inside the hall was also very nice, get to know many companies from other countries. Watching the development of technology nowadys, really feel respect to the scientist. Hope one day technology of Malaysia can be developed as other countries.
