CNY 2013 (CNY Eve - Day 3)

Escaped from jungle training was the most excited part. Sat on 3 tan with other Chinese cadets along with CNY mood while other members were so tough to go through every single of training. Story for Annual Camp 2013>>> Click Here. Although felt sorry to them but I had to become selfish once, apart them for my holidays, impossible for me to celebrate CNY in the jungle. Before I left, all my things get exchanged; they changed over my backpack, my webbing set, because their things broken already. My torchlight, plastic raincoat, watch, machete knife, poncho and plastic also borrowed them as they need it more, haha, and such a great experience. We reached campus around 1pm, then proceed for lunch, washed our M16, washed our dirty clothes, backpack, spike boots and other thing. Around 7pm, we just finished rushing washing, I decided to go back hometown immediately. Despite I bought a ticket on 9 Feb 2013 9.30am, but thinking would get jam on CNY eve, so decided to go buy another ticket on that night. 2 tickets (RM45 + RM36= RM81) spent to go home, really expensive. But as long as I reached Kedah before CNY eve, everything worth it and I reached Sungai Petani at 4am on CNY eve.

My auntie definitely is a good cook, she cook many delicious food for us every year. Got abalone, sea cucumber, pig feet，big prawn, big fish and vegetables. I think food for CNY eve for every year costs almost RM1K lo, but one year once only la, CNY what. J We also enjoy our night with sparkling, CHEERS…wish everyone have a good year.

We woke up very late on the 1^st day. Then ladies changed leopard print shirt, haha. After lunch, we visit to our relative’s house. When visit to relative’s house, get ang pow, chat with relatives, the CNY mood will grows and everybody will feel very happy. Only CNY can gathered all the relatives and friends, seeing each other living good, our heart also feel relieved.

After visited relatives for father’s side at hometown, we proceed to mother’s mum house in Kangar. Family of mother’s 2^nd sister didn’t come back because of work. The youngest auntie likes to chat with us, so we used to chat with her until 5am every time. During CNY, our days just eat, eat, eat and drink, drink, drink, become fat for sure.

CNY Day 2

Woke up very late as well today. The youngest auntie prepared to go back Singapore because got to work. So, just left my family at grandma’s house. Got relatives came our house and we also visited to mum’s friend house.

CNY Day 3

The day I need to go back to KL to continue annual camp training. After lunch, we left from grandma’s house and heading to Sungai Petani. Before went to bus station, we still able to visit mum’s best friend. After that, I left from Kedah and back to KL at 6pm. Me and my friend reached KL around 1am and I’m too scared to take taxi go back campus. So I gave my friend a SOS message, an ex-senior from UPNM, he fetched us back from Puduraya to UPNM. Wa, that time felt like is good to have a friend like him, helped me when I’m helpless.

This CNY, I just spent 2days at home, not enough la. CNY Day 4 we reported back to PALAPES, an empty day waiting members came back from jungle. CNY Day 5 also empty during morning session, but night time very interesting. Day 5- Day 8 was very fun for me, everyday hang out with friends. Update soon.
