Georgetown Festival 2013

Holiday let us rest our body and refresh our mind. During study, I used to spend my free time with adventure games. During holiday, I prefer to go travel, open eyes to see the world and explore the beautiful of art. Get close to nature and society. Coincidently Georgetown Festival came to the end, luckily I’m still had a chance to pay a visit to the festival. So LUCKY. This trip I just covered 2 places: Snake Temple & Heritage Street. Penang now famous with wall painting, more than 10. Guess how many I collected?

Well, my 1st time to Snake Temple under a “tour guide” by my friend. It’s free entry. They just let the snakes free on the tree in the temple, so scary. It looked scary but not dangerous la, there are people look after the snakes. Don’t worry…

After Snake Temple, going to Heritage Street, my main course of this trip began --- Georgetown Festival. Penang now famous with wall painting, wait for so long, finally went there to capture down the beautiful art work.

1st you reach there, got 2 choices: Walk or Cycle. Find a bicycle shop and rent a bike if you feel like lazy to walk. Rent for a bike just costs RM10 per day, very cheap. When I rent the bike, the boss still free us a map, show us the places where the wall painting located at, easier us to find.

Wow, I have collected so many, but still got about 5 wall paintings I haven’t got to capture. Never mind, next time!!! During Georgetown Festival, many museums opened for public to visit. Got a few wall paintings located quite far away from the centre, so choose to cycle to find it also a good idea.

I want to stay longer in Penang, because Penang always held festival. Haha. I want to drive to Penang, but my parent didn’t let me drive to Penang. So, had to rush back to Butterworth to catch the last bus back to SP. So mahuan. Next time I should try drive to Penang. Hehe.

Well, to walk at Heritage Street in Penang, I suggest you to bring more water and bring umbrella, the weather very hot. Penang still got many places to explore.  Nice trip in overall, just not enough time.

Kafe Roti Bakar Amanjaya SP

4.7.2013, is an important date for me. 3years back, I came KL with my big luggage, with blur mood, stepped into UPNM. Since then, my life went through many high peaks and down season, nobody knows. Until now, I’m very admiring myself for survived so hard in UPNM for 3 years. How I face bundle of problems, how I settle tasks, how I overcome my timid, how I control my mood, how I schedule my routines, how I survive in UPNM, when I look back, the journey was long, but I created my own experiences, memorable moments and history. I found my independent side of me, I made my life colourful. UPNM is a great place for me too (positively thinking). Well, just 1 more year to go, yeah, you can do it !!!. Anyway, I’m having semester break right now. Let’s talk about something informative.

Today, a big day for my relatives. Grand new Opening Kafe Roti Bakar Amanjaya SP. The café is located right beside C-Mart Amanjaya Mall. The shop is quite big, is a corner lot shop, very easy to notice that.

My family & I went there to support them. I like the decoration inside, very peaceful mood, air-conditioned, provide Wi-Fi. One word, NICE.
